PM Modi termed women entrepreneurs accepting payments through QR codes even in far flung villages as a big symbol about India’s economy marching ahead.
Digital payments have revolutionized the very idea of transactions in India and have played a vital role in boosting the economy of the country.
During eight years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rule the financial transactions have witnessed an unprecedented change. Digital payments have become a norm. M-pay and G-pay have become the easiest ways of making payments.
India’s digital revolution has spread from small villages to bigger cities and towns. The QR code payments have revolutionized the very idea of payments in India.
From offline payment devices to credit, various digital payments are enabling merchants with robust business solutions to scale their businesses.
The companies like Paytm have embarked on a mission to drive financial inclusion in the country and bring half a billion unserved and underserved Indians to the mainstream economy.
These companies are working in line with the government’s mission to transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy. With technology-led innovations in financial services and products, the digital payment applications have created a formidable infrastructure that is catalysing India’s techade.
During the past eight years India’s economy has transformed. The banks are performing major functions as the people are managing the financial transactions on their own. The digital payment applications have made the transactions easy. People no longer carry the cash and use their smartphones to even make small purchases.
The PM Modi led regime has worked very hard on making transactions easy. The system has been devised in such a way that it can be accessed by anyone. All are equal. The digital transactions have brought everyone at par and at equal footing.
When Narendra Modi had taken over as the Prime Minister of India in 2014, he had promised the people that he would ensure that the country’s economy comes at par with the leading economies in the world and he has kept his promise as India has overtaken British economy and is marching ahead.
