Shopian, Oct 2: A militant has been killed in an encounter that broke out between in Baskuchan village in Imamsahib area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Sunday.
An official told KNO that earlier encounter broke out in Baskuchan village following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
He said that in the ensuing encounter one militant has been killed, while operation was going on.
