Reviews recruitment process under Agnipath scheme

Baramulla: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir P.K Pole accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar Monday paid visit to Hyderbeigh Pattan where he was briefed  regarding  first ever UT level Agnipath Recruitment Rally being organized under the Centrally Sponsored Agnipath Scheme.

The rally witnessed participation of youth from different parts of the Kashmir division including Shopian, Pulwama and Ganderbal and were screened for recruitment into the Indian Army.

Addressing the participants at the event, the Divisional Commissioner highlighted the significance of the Agnipath Scheme and urged youth to take part in the recruitment process of Agnipath Scheme to contribute in Nation building and its protection.

Pole further highlighted that the Agnipath Scheme would provide a good opportunity for building youth to become Agniveers to serve in the Armed Forces and to promote a younger profile of the Armed Forces.

He reiterated Agniveers would bring about a transitional shift towards a more tech savvy and enthusiastic Armed Forces.

Interacting with the participants, the Divisional Commissioner said that Agniveers on completion of a four years period would go to the society as disciplined, dynamic and responsible citizens. He asserted that Agnipath scheme would have a significant positive impact on Agniveers as individuals, Society as a whole and armed forces to contribute greatly to the Nation.

Meanwhile, DC Baramulla Dr Syed Sehrish briefed about the recruitment process and said that all the arrangements are being supported by district administration in order to smoothly conduct the first ever Agnipath Recruitment Rally in the Baramulla District.

Among others Col G suresh Director recruitment army recruting office Srinagar and ladakh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla and Tehsildar Pattan were present on the occasion.
