Criminals wanted in attempt to murder case held in Samba

Jammu: Police on Tuesday arrested two criminals, who were wanted in attempt to murder case, along with weapons in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Senior Superintendent of Police, Samba, Dr Abhishek Mahajan, said that two notorious criminals wanted in separate cases were arrested on Tuesday.

He said that a police team of Police Station Ramgarh headed by Station House Officer, Inspector Asha Nand under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur, Priyanka Kumari has arrested two criminals identified as Raman Kumar of Arnia and Pankaj Kumar alias Panku of Ramgarh, District Samba.

However, one pistol, one magazine, five live rounds, one sharp edged weapon and a car were seized from the accused persons.

“Both the accused are habitual criminals and involved in a number of cases registered at different Police Stations of Samba and Kathua districts,” said the SSP. (UNI)
