Srinagar: Authorities in Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) on Wednesday said that the DPR for construction of 14-kilomter road length in Manzgam has been sent for approval and sanction.
Regarding the Manzgam Hallan road, it is submitted that the said road was constructed long before and has already completed its design life. An estimate for its necessary restoration/repairs was submitted by this department, Executive Engineer of PMGSY said.
“Further a new DPR has also been submitted by the PWD(R&B) department under Development of Tourism Village (Adventure/Sports) program from Manzgam to Chirrenbal for a total Length of 9km’s (including an additional length of 5km’s from Hallen to chirrenbal) to the competent authority for approval & sanction,” he said.
