Anantnag: In a shocking incident, a newborn baby was found dead in Sherbagh area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday, officials said here.
An official said that the body of baby was found in a water body in Sherbagh area.
“It seems someone dumped the baby’s body and threw into water body,” he said, adding body was taken to a nearby health facility for medico-legal formalities.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the matter. (KNO)
