Ganderbal: A policeman was injured after a Scooty he was riding was hit by a truck in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
The incident occurred at Thune Mammar area of Kangan town on Monday morning.
Sources told a local news gathering agency that a truck (JK02AM-7833) hit a Scooty (JK16B-5652) coming from the opposite direction leading to the injuries of one Khurshid Ahmed Rather, a resident of Bonzila Haripora village.
Rather as per sources is working in Jammu Kashmir Police Department and was on way to home after performing duties. He has been shifted to hospital for treatment.
Police in this regard have registered a case under relevant sections of law. (KNT)
