Srinagar: A ponywala died on Thursday when he fell into a deep gorge at Sangam top on Amarnath yatra route, officials said.
They said the Ponywala was identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad, resident of Anantnag, who slipped near the Sangam top on the yatra route and fell into a deep gorge.
The Mountain Rescue Team (MRT) of Jammu and Kashmir Police brought the body of the deceased from the deep gorge after strenuous efforts, added the officials. (UNI)
