Srinagar: Authorities in Wildlife department on Thursday said that they have dispatched a team of officials to Handwara village where wild animals are reportedly roaming around.
Locals of Handwara had held protests against the wildlife authorities for failing to capture the wild animals roaming in the area.
Taking note of the protest, the higher authorities sought a report from the concerned officials.
Wild life warden, in his report said that the day he received information about roaming of wild animals, a team was dispatched to the area.”Our team is on job,” WLW said.
