Washington: US President Joe Biden said on Thursday that he has no plans to ask the leaders of Saudi Arabia to increase oil production.
“Now, I am not going to ask them that,” Biden said during a press conference when asked whether he would ask the Saudi King and Crown Prince during his upcoming trip to Saudi Arabia to increase oil production.
Biden said he had indicated to all countries in the Persian Gulf the importance of increasing oil production and expressed hope those states will see it is in their interest to do so.
