Srinagar: Police on Monday arrested a man for allegedly stabbing his mother-in-Law in Ram Bagh area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
Police said that a case has been registered under sections of attempt to murder in Sadar Police station while the victim lady, who sustained severe injuries, is undergoing treatment at SMHS hospital.
“Accused namely Jasir Ahmad Gada of Batmaloo arrested for stabbing his mother-in-law in Ram Bagh area,” police said in a tweet, adding, “Case registered under sections of attempt to murder in Sadar Police station.” Victim lady is grievously injured and is battling for life in SMHS Hospital,” police added.
