Shah thanks PM, says process will be expedited

New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving instructions to fill 10 lakh vacant government posts in one and half years. Home Ministry said the process for recruitments will be sped up.

In a tweet, the Home Minister said “The basis of New India is its youth power, to empower them Shri Modi is working continuously. Shri Modi’s directive to make 10 lakh recruitments in mission mode in all government departments and ministries in 1.5 years will bring new hope and confidence among the youth.”

In a statement, Home Ministry said it has taken steps to fill up the vacancies in Mission Mode as per the instructions of the PM.

“In line with instructions of PM Modi to carry out 10 lakh recruitments in all GOI departments and Ministries over a period of 1.5 years, Ministry of Home Affairs has initiated steps to fill up vacancies in Mission Mode,” Spokesperson of the Home Ministry said.

The Prime Minister’s office in a tweet on Tuesday said the PM Modi has asked various government departments and ministries to undertake the recruitment of 10 lakh people on a “mission mode” in the next year and a half.
