PSAJK organizes student exchange programme

Srinagar: In a first, the Private Schools Association Jammu and Kashmir (PSAJK) Tuesday initiated student exchange programme between various regions of the Union Territory in order to get the knowledge of different cultures, languages and educational set up.

As a part of this initiative, a group of students from Chenab Valley today visited one of the prestigious schools of Jammu and Kashmir, Green Valley Educational Institute Srinagar.

The school administration welcomed the guest students warmly. The students were excited to interact with their fellow students and teachers at Green Valley. Chenab Valley students asked many questions to their counterparts and were thrilled to see the infrastructure and a very beautiful campus.

Students visited various laboratories, library and class rooms and made buddies on this occasion.

While welcoming the guest students and teachers, Mohammad Yousuf Wani, Chairman Green Valley Educational Institute said that their school is always ready to host such visitors from across the UT.

He said that they are more than happy to find the guest students visiting library, laboratories and play grounds and taking a good message from the host institution. He said that Green Valley School always encourages such events and their students and staff is always ready to provide friendly atmosphere to the visiting students and teachers.

Meanwhile, President PSAJK, G N Var said that this was the beginning of a long term programme in which the association will encourage educational tours and exchange programmes of students and teachers to different regions of Jammu and Kashmir in order to spread a message of peace, unity and brotherhood and to promote the unique value system of this part of globe.
