Jammu: The Chief of Army Staff General Manoj Pande on Thursday visited the Udhampur based Northern Command and reviewed the operational preparedness and the security situation ahead of the annual Shri Amarnath Yatra starting from June 30.
“General Manoj Pande visited Headquarters Northern Command and reviewed the operational preparedness,” said an official.
He said that the General interacted with the Commanders and troops and appreciated them for high standards of professionalism and devotion to duty. (UNI)
