Evacuate us from Kashmir: KP Govt employees SOS

New Delhi: Amid shock over the killing of Kashmiri Pandit Rahul Bhat, the Kashmiri Pandit PM Package employees on Saturday urged Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to evacuate them safely from Kashmir in order to save their lives.

“It is to apprise regretfully that we the PM Package employees under threat of compulsion have finally decided that Kashmir is not safe for we people. It’s really unfortunate that being Indian, being Hindu we are being targeted again and again, day in and day out we are being assassinated selectively,” the All PM Package Employees Forum wrote.

“This package was given as a confidence building initiative for we people but forget about confidence, we are not able to live here,” the Forum leaders added.

Employees said that administration on a daily basis takes responsibility for their lives but they are being killed here on a daily basis. They said they are being targeted in Kashmir for being Hindu and can’t stay in Kashmir.

“Kashmiri Pandits are ready to serve anywhere in the world but not in Kashmir. We the PM Package Employees and Non-PM Package Employees request your good self to please evacuate us safely from Kashmir province and save us,” the letter reads.
