Srinagar: The Kashmir Shaiva Institute organized a two day National Seminar on Kashmir Shaivism. The Seminar was held on the 7th and 8th of May 2022 , right where the greatest Shaivacharya of Kashmir Swami Lakhmanjoo Maharaj spent a great part of his life and attained the supreme state of enlightenment , at Nishat , Srinagar . The seminar on Kashmir Shaivism held in Kashmir, right at the foothills of the great Mahadeva mountains holds a supreme significance, given that the Kashmir Shaiva Philosophy originated in Kashmir and is gaining attention of the entire spiritual and scientific communities across the globe today as the most supreme of all Indian spiritual schools of thought.
The seminar was guided and facilitated by some of the towering and well known scholars in Kashmir Shaivisim drawn from across the country that included Dr Kamlesh Jha of BHU, Prof Ramakant Angiras, Dr Shikha Rajpurohit, Dr Saroj Gupta and Shri Pran Nath Kaul . The scholars spoke about the mystic dimensions of the profound philosophy of Kashmir Shaivism, . The seminar was centered around the commentaries and teachings of the Shaiviacharya Swami Lakshmanjoo. The Seminar was well attended by a large number of keen seekers and students, Scholars and researchers and eminent citizens from all over India and overseas ,interested in exploring the basic contextual framework of the Kashmir Shaivism Philosophy.
