Bandipora: The Office of Assistant Director Food and Civil Supplies Bandipora today said that their Enforcement Squad was conducting Market Checking on daily basis in a routine manner in order to curb the black marketing and illegal profiteering besides to enforce Govt notified rates issued from time to time.
In a statement issued here, they said during the Month of March and April 22, 07 Poultry, 02 Mutton and 02 Sweet shops were seized for violating Govt notified rates.
Furthermore, a fine of Rs 40000 was imposed on erring business establishments. The enforcement squad of this District is always on toes to enforce the Govt notified rates in letter and spirit and to ensure availability of essentials in the market.
