Militant involved in attack on RPF cops arrested: IGP Kumar   

Srinagar: Police on Saturday arrested one of the two militants involved in the killing of two Railway Protection Force personnel in Kakapora area of Pulwama on April 18, officials said.

Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar told GNS that the militant is from Lashkar-e-Toiba.

“Another militant involved in the attack has also been identified and will soon be either neutralized or arrested,” the IGP added.

The statement comes on a day when one of the two RPF personnel SI Dev Raj succumbed to injuries at SMHS hospital here. His colleague had died on spot when pistol-borne militant attacked him from behind near a Dhaba at Kakapora on April 18.
