Srinagar: Medical Superintendent, Sub District Hospital (SDH) Kupwara has described the reports on social media and print media that non-availability of radiologist at SDH Kuwara makes patients suffer as completely false and baseless.
The statement issued by the MS, SDH Kupwara said that doctor always remains available at the radiology section of the hospital.
The statement said that SDH Kupwara is doing a great job by providing timely facilities to the patients like X ray , USG and CT scan with available resources and man power.
“At least 100 X-ray, USGs and 10 CT scans are performed in the hospital on an average on daily basis,” the statement said.
Regarding the news report published on 14.4.2022 that no doctor was available in USG section , the statement said that the doctor on duty on the said date despite being ailing himself performed at least 20 USGs in a day.
Statement further said that the hospital despite being overcrowded manages all the patients referred from other healthcare facilities of the district as well as those advised the investigation in different OPDs of the hospital.
