Srinagar: An 11-year-old Mumbai boy died while another sustained injuries when they had a fall from a horse ride in Sonamarg on Tuesday, officials said.
They said Kartik, son of Sudhakar, a resident of Devadiga Mumbai who had a fall from the horse while taking a ride at the Thajiwas in Sonamarg in Ganderbal district suffered critical injuries.
He was shifted to Public Health Centre Sonamarg where he succumbed to his injuries.
They said another 47-year-old Shahi Kumari, wife of Ajay Kumar Singh, a resident of Kathmandu Nepal also suffered injuries when she fell from a horse while taking the ride in Sonamarg.
