AJ&KITI Employees Union bids adieu to its president

Srinagar: All Jammu and Kashmir Government ITI Employees Union on Wednesday held an extra ordinary farewell party in honour of Riyaz Ahmad Ahangar, President ITI Employees Union and EJAC leader on attaining his retirement on superannuation in recognition of his services for the cause of the employees.

Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam President EJAC was the chief guest in the impressive farewell party.

The farewell party among others was graced by the veteran leaders of the All J&K Government ITI Employees Union Muhammad Abbas and Farooq Ahmad Shah.

Besides, Muhammad Akber Khan President JKTF, Muhammad Shafi Rather, State Secretary JKTF, Showkat Ahmad Shastar Financial Secretary JKTF, Muhammad Shafi Wani, and other dignitaries and leaders of EJAC also attended the party.

Speaking on the occasion, EJAC President Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam acknowledged the role of the retiring President, Riyaz Ahmad in the cause of employees and said his services shall be remembered for a long time. The other leaders also praised his work and gave him best wishes.

Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam termed the retiring President as an honest and brave leader who always supported & worked for the welfare and betterment of the employees. The EJAC leaders and the participants wished him a very happy & prosperous post retirement life.

Meanwhile, Abdul Bari Shah was nominated as acting president and Riyaz Ahmad Ahanger as Chairman of ALL J&K Government ITI Employees Union till an elected body will come in place.
