Civil engineer from Kulgam dies of heart attack in Saudi Arabia, family appeals for airlifting body

Srinagar, Mar 28:  A 25-year-old civil engineer from south Kashmir’s Kulgam district died of heart attack in Saudi Arabia on Sunday.

Reports said that the civil engineer Mustakeen Ahmad Pandit, son of Nazir Ahmad Pandit, a resident of Dessan Yaripora area in Kulgam was working with Tabook Alwaj Company in Saudi Arabia. On Sunday he suffered some serious health complications and was immediately shifted to a local hospital at Al Wajh Saudi Arabia, where he died of a heart attack.

The family has appealed to the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha, Ministry of External Affairs for the early return of his body from Saudi Arabia so that they can perform his last rites.

Jammu and Kashmir Students association has also written to Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha to help the family and pursue this matter with the Ministry of External Affairs in airlifting the mortal remains of deceased back to Kashmir from Saudi Arabia for the last rites at his ancestral village. (KDC)
