‘Insulator still fixed to avoid current lealage’
Srinagar: Power development department authorities on Monday clarified that the electric line passing over the newly installed pole at Usmanabad Bachpora 90 feet road is not charged and is not posing any threat to the life of property.
AEE sub-division , Hawal , electric division 4th shared photographs of the pole and electric wire saying that the line not charged is clearky visible from the pictures.
In a statement , the official said that they have still put in place an insulator to restrict any leakage current due to induction.
A facebook page , Nawakadal had shared pictures of the wire passing close to the newly installed pole saying ‘this is risky for locals’.
