SDM directed to start restoration of temple immediately
Srinagar: Deputy commissioner Shopian , Sachan Kumar Vaishya on Thursday ordered magisterial inquiry into the temple fire incident in Zainapora area of the district.
Authorities in a statement said that district magistrate Shopian along with SP Shopian visited Zainapora where temple was gutted in a fire incident.
“District magistrate ordered magisterial inquiry into the incident to establish the cause of fire,” the statement said.
Forensic team, statement added , also collected samples of the gutted temple .
Police has lodged FIR into the incident and also set the investigation into motion.
District magistrate , according to statement , has also directed SDM Zainapora to start restoration of the gutted temple without any delay.
