Srinagar: Power development department authorities on Monday said that the damaged transformer in Sheeri village of the district has been replaced with new one.
District information centre Baramulla in a tweet said that transformer of the area had got damaged repeatedly in recent time due to overloading and over usage.
“The transformer has been again replaced and AEE will be directed for effective inspection to be carried out. New DT being executed today,” DIC Baramulla tweeted.
The grievance regarding damage to the transformer fourth time in a month was reported by a section of print media.
