Srinagar: A 47-year-old man on Sunday was found hanging at his house in Amnoo village in Kulgam district, officials said.
The deceased, identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Dar, was a salesman in a private company.
The man, who was staying at a rented accommodation at Amnoo village of Danow Kandimarg in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, was found hanging, they said.
According to officials, it was not clear whether it was a ‘murder or suicide’.
The body has been sent to a hospital for post-mortem. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway. (UNI)
