Srinagar: Authorities on Saturday said that Bandipora-Gurez Road is likely to be reopened within the next 15-days.
An official said, ” Snow clearance of Bandipora-Gurez Road being conducted by BRO has been completed 33 kilometers from Bandipora side and 26 kilometers from Gurez side stand . The snow clearance work on the remaining length, comprising very tough terrain and witnessing harsh weather conditions, is presently going on, and is expected to be completed in the next 15 days subject to fair weather conditions.”

It’s in place to mention here that the emergency travel to Gurez and Tulail is catered through chopper services, which is operated on all fair weather days.
