J&K govt to host maiden Real Estate Summit—‘Unlocking Opportunities’ on Dec 27

Jammu: To boost the real estate sector, the Jammu and Kashmir Administration will host the maiden Real Estate Summit 2021—‘Unlocking Opportunities’ on December 27 here at Convention Centre.
An official on Saturday said that the Ministry of Urban Development, Government of Jammu and Kashmir in collaboration with Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India in association with National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) will be hosting the first ever Jammu and Kashmir Real Estate Summit 2021- Unlocking Opportunities.
He said that Union Minister in PMO Dr Jitendra Singh, Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs, Government, Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor, Jammu and Kashmir will also be attending the event.
During the conference, the participants comprising the stalwarts from the real estate sector will be holding threadbare discussions on unveiling of Policies and MoUs, Inaugural of Skilling Initiative, vision Jammu and Kashmir for Real Estate: Sector Overview, Opportunities and Challenges, Catalyst to Growth: Ease of Doing Investment in Jammu and Kashmir, Opportunity for Investors: Affordable Housing, Luxury Housing, Second Home, Rental Housing in J&K and Next Destination J&K: Tourism, Films and Entertainment, Logistics, Commercial, Warehousing, said the official.
Meanwhile Durga Shanker Mishra, Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, GOI, Dr Arun Kumar Mehta, Chief Secretary, J&K, Dheeraj Gupta, Principal Secretary, Housing and Urban Development J&K, Rajan N Bandelkar, National President, NAREDCO, Dr Niranjan Hiranandani, Vice Chairman, NAREDCO and Rajeev Talwar, Chairman Emeritus, NAREDCO will also be the eminent speakers during the conference.
“The main objective of the real estate conference is to attract investment in the real estate sector in Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
