EJAC protests to press for their demands

Srinagar: The members of Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) on Thursday held a protest demonstration at Press Enclave on Residency road and threatened that they will hit the roads if the government failed to meet the demands of daily wagers including release of their pending salaries.

Raising slogans of “LG Government Hosh Mai Aao” the EJAC leaders said they will continue our weekly demonstration until the government meets the demands including regularizations of daily wagers and implementation of 7th pay commission accordingly.

They demanded constitution of a committee for regularizing the employees of “Rehbar-e-Taleem” and Rehbar-e-Ziraat”.

The EJAC leaders threatened that “all four lakh government employees will hit the roads if the government failed to meet their demands and asserted that they will continue their weekly protest”. (UNI)
