Army’s Dagger Division organizes interactive session in Bla

Srinagar: In an initiative by Dagger Division, an interactive session with stakeholders of Baramulla was organised on Tuesday.

The event saw participation by Mohalla Presidents, Maulvis and other important stakeholders of Sheher-e-Khas Old Town Baramulla.

A strength of 55 stakeholders participated in the session and in the fruitful discussion.

The aim of the event was to have an in-depth interaction with all the important stakeholders in the society. Maintenance of hygiene and sanitation, development projects for Old Town, eradication of drug menace amongst the youth, channelising the youth towards education, sports and shaping the nascent minds for better future and peace were the key take away points of the event.

Apart from the same, civil administration representatives  including the Education Department, PHE, Electricity Department, Police, Municipal Council and other welfare organisations had also been invited to give an ear to the hardships faced by the poeple.

Major General Ajay Chandpuria, GOC Dagger Division chaired the Conclave. The event is yet another step by Army to strengthen the People-Army connect.
