Kupwara: Three persons including a woman and two minors were bitten by stray dogs in Sogam Lolab area of this north Kashmir district on Thursday.
Reports said that dogs attacked and bit a woman, Sun Mala wife of Bashir Ahmed Lone, Sahil Ahmed Lone (17) son of Showkat Ahmed Lone and Talib Sajad (12) son of Sajad Ahmad Lone. The trio was shifted to Sub District Hospital Sogam for treatment.
BMO Sogam Dr Fareed Shaheen said that they have been provided treatment. The dogs have created a scare in the area and people have urged concerned authorities to take necessary action so as to prevent such attacks in future. (GNS)
