Health care worker dies of Covid

DHSK grieved over his demise

Srinagar: Director Health Services Kashmir, Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather has expressed grief over the death of a health worker who died due to Covid and expressed sympathy with the grieved family.

A spokesperson of Directorate of Health Services Kashmir said one dedicated employee of J&K Health Department Mohmmad Muzafar Marazi passed away today at DRDO Hospital Srinagar.

The Director while expressing condolence with the deceased family and prayed for the departed soul. He said health care workers are fighting the pandemic and have given sacrifices for the public.

“Their sacrifices will be remembered always and it is an inspiration all of us. They should continue their good work with zeal and zest for this pandemic and always,” he said.

The deceased was infected by Covid-19 during Special Vaccination duty at Srinagar. He was deputed by Directorate of Health Services Kashmir to Srinagar for Carrying Vaccination Drive which he has did with dedication 24×7.

The deceased employee was infected by Covid 19 and was first admitted in GMC Baramulla were from he was shifted DRDO Hospital Khrew where he died today morning.

Deceased was one of the most dedicated and punctual health worker was discharginmg his duties round the clock across District and was presently posted in PHC Balhama in District Baramulla.

Meanwhile Chief Medical Officer Baramulla, Meer Ji Andrabi was deeply saddened to the death of the employee and said the department will never forget his hard work and dedication.

He has assured every possible help from the Department to the family of deceased employee.
