Jaishankar meets Tajik security chief, discusses bilateral cooperation

New Delhi: External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Thursday met Tajik security chief Nasrullo Mahmudzoda Rahmatjon and held useful discussions on bilateral ties as well as the regional situation.

Jaishankar said in a tweet: “Glad to meet Tajik NSA Mahmudzoda Nasrullo Rahmatjon.

“Useful discussions on our bilateral cooperation and the regional situation.”

The Tajik security chief was in India to attend the Delhi Regional Security Dialogue on Afghanistan held on Wednesday.

He had held bilateral talks with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval on Tuesday, during which the two sides held a detailed exchange of views on Afghanistan, as well as on bilateral ties.
