Srinagar: Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) Monday expressed sorrow over the sad and untimely demise of Shahid Masood Bukhari, senior journalist and editor KTV.
In a statement, Senior Trade Union leader and President EJAC, Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam termed him as humble human being and an intellectual whose work spanned across many decades.
He was a journalist with a lot of moral values. He will always be remembered for his immense contribution in journalism. He leaves behind a rich legacy in the field of journalism. His loss is not only to journalism fraternity but to whole of the society, he said.
Shabnam has expressed solidarity with bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to departed soul.
