Chadoora: Two persons were killed after a Maruti rolled down into a deep gorge in Chadoora area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Official sources said that one Parvez Ahmed who was driving a Maruti vehicle without any number plate lost control over it and the vehicle after skidding off the road rolled down into a gorge.
The vehicle was extensively damaged in the accident while besides driver, a passenger present in the vehicle was also killed.
The fatal road accident occurred at Gogjipathri area of Chadoora town.
An official said that the duo died in the hospital where they had been brought in injured condition.
The deceased have been identified as Parvez Ahmed Thokar of Kristwar Chadoora and Fayaz Ahmed Hajam, a resident of Gogjipather Chadoora. (KNT)
