Police trace missing Kashmiri minor girls

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday recovered three minor girls from Udhampur who went missing from Ganderbal district in Central Kashmir on October 26.

A Police spokesman said, police station Kheerbawani received a written complaint from the parents of three minor girls hailing from Tulmulla Ganderbal area stating that their daughters had not returned home after school.

He said police swung into action for tracking the missing girls and started investigations which led them to trace the missing girls from Udhampur district of Jammu region within 12 hours of complaint. The said girls were handed to their parents after legal formalities, the spokesman said.
