Srinagar: A woman among six civilians injured in a grenade blast near Sumbal bridge in North Kashmir’s Bandipora on Tuesday.
A senior police officer told GNS that militants lobbed grenade towards army in Sumbal. However the device missed the target and exploded on roadside, leading to the injuries to six civilians. The injured were shifted to nearby hospital for treatment where from they were shifted to SMHS hospital.
They have been identified as Muhammad Altaf of Naninara, Faisal Fayaz of Safapora, Mushtaq Ahmad of Markundal, Tasleema Bano of Markundal, Abdul Hameed of Markundal and Fayaz Ahmad of Asham.
