Vijaypur: A colourful attestation-cum-passing out parade of seven trainees of 5th Batch of “39 weeks Police Wireless Training Course” was held at Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur on Monday.
Khalil Ahmed Poswal, SSP, Principal PTTI Vijaypur was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
The Chief Guest inspected the parade and took salute of the March Past and presented mementoes, trophies to the trainees who exhibited excellence in various activities.
During his address, Principal PTTI Vijaypur congratulated the newly passed out trainees for becoming members of J&K Police family and advised them to perform their duties with sincerity and dedication.
He also highlighted various aspects of the training and lauded role of the trainers for imparting quality training to the trainees for their all-round development keeping in view the professional needs of Police organization.
An investiture ceremony was also held on this occasion, in which Principal PTTI Vijaypur decorated five officers and officials of PTTI Vijaypur who have been honoured with the DGP’s Medal for their exemplary services for the year 2019 & 2020 and presented them commendation certificates.
The awardees included SI(S) Jatinder Kumar and ASI Shiv Ram for the year 2020 And ASI (T) Balbir Raj, HC Bodh Raj and SgCt. Ganesh Kumar for the year 2019. The Principal also complimented PTTI staff for organizing an impressive POP function.
