Jammu: Two persons were killed and nine injured in separate road accidents on Sunday in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to police, one tempo driver died and nine passengers onboard sustained injuries when the vehicle collided with a trailer at Gole Mela on Dhar Road in Udhampur.
Police said, the driver identified as Manzoor Ahmed, 25, son of Abdul Rashid of Sangal Dan was declared dead in the hospital.
Meanwhile, the injured persons have been hospitalised.
In a separate incident, Mudasir Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Baramulla, died when his truck load with apples turned turtle on Saturday night.
An investigation is being done on the matter, the police said. (UNI)
