Jammu: As Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh will be turning 100 in the year 2025, national president Mohan Bhagwat asked its cadre to reach every household and expand the organisational structure in the coming years to mark its centenary celebrations.
On the last leg of his four-day Jammu visit, Mr Bhagwat addressed the Swayamsevaks through online mode from Keshav Bhawan-the headquarters of J&K RSS at Ambphalla.
Swayamsevaks from 989 places joined the virtual meetings across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and listened to the address of the Sarsanghchalak.
In his address, the Sarsanghchalak guided the Swayamsevaks on different topics ranging from the formation of the RSS to the expansion of its network across the globe.
He emphasized personality building, organization setup, nation-building, and challenges before the nation.
Dr Bhagwat said that in the year 2025, the RSS is going to complete 100 years of its formation and there is a need to accelerate activities of the RSS to mark its centenary celebrations.
“The target of the Swayamsevaks should be to reach every household when it will celebrate its centenary four years later,” said the RSS chief.
The Sarsanghchalak exhorted the cadre to work hard in order to ensure that when the organisation will turn 100 in 2025 and the same d, “the Swayamsevaks should reach every household with extension of Shakhas in all villages.”
He advised the Swayamsevaks how their conduct should be and how their lives should be devoted to nation-building.
“We are doing the same work for the last 96 years. We have to do it with more zeal and enthusiasm without diverting out attention”, he called upon the workers.
Emphasizing the need of strengthening the organization, he said that real unity is the real strength.
“Our strength will be realized only through our unity. We have to remain united”, he said. He narrated examples of the founder of RSS Dr Hedgewar during the early days of Sangh in Nagpur.
The Sarsanghchalak said, “we have to keep in mind that we have to organize the whole Hindu society and Hindu society that can make India a Vishwa Guru.”
“India should be at the forefront in every field of the world and we should also be in a position to lead the whole world. We have to create such a country and it should be our ultimate target,” he said, adding that the work has just started, not finished. So the need to work with patience is more important.
The Sarsanghchalak emphasizes attending Shakhas regularly as it is important to remain physically, intellectually, and organizationally strong.
“Every Swayamsevek has to perform his duty with dedication and commitment”, he said and stressed the need for character building and personality building.
He narrated examples of Ramayana to give importance to character building. “A Swayamsevak should be an example for the whole society”, he said.
