Create peaceful society that takes everyone along: RSS Chief

Jammu: Advocating for expansion of work in scope and to make it more organized, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Sarsanghchalak (Chief) Dr Mohan Bhagwat on the second day of his four day visit to Jammu on Friday, asked the Swayamsevaks to create a peaceful society that takes everyone along.

ā€œSet an example for others by creating a peaceful society that takes everyone along,ā€ the RSS stalwart said during detailed discussions with Pracharaks on various aspects especially working of the Sangh in the Union Territory.

He said that RSS will expand and be more organized to work towards creating such a society.

The Sarsanghchalak in a meeting at Keshav Bhawan, the headquarters of RSS at Jammu, also reviewed various projects initiated by the J&K RSS for the development of villages and rural economy.

He also gave suggestions to the Swayamsevaks who have taken projects for village development.

During the meeting, a RSS leader said that Dr Bhagwat discussed spreading of organizational work in new areas and further setting up the network of RSS shakhas in every nook and corner of Jammu and Kashmir to inculcate patriotism among people.

The Sarsanghchalak called for comprehensive training and programme to meet the challenge of the possible third wave of the coronavirus.

He emphasized on the need for proper training of the Swayamsevaks to face any challenge during the pandemic.

The RSS Pracharaks of J&K briefed the Sarsanghchalak about the organizational activities in their respective areas.

Pracharaks also briefed Dr Bhagwat about various projects initiated by the Swayamsevaks during the first and second wave of the deadly coronavirus pandemic.

However, said a leader that the meeting with Pracharaks was focused only on organizational issues and ongoing working in different fields.

Apart from briefing Dr Bhagwat about organizational work in J&K, Pracharaks raised queries and sought the Sarsangchalak’s guidance on some issues.

During his interactions with Pracharaks, the Sarsanghchalak emphasized the need for further spreading organizational networks so as to reach out to every home with the message of the RSS. He especially focussed on spreading the organizationā€™s network ahead of the centenary celebrations (100th years) of the foundation of RSS.

The Sarsanghchalak emphasized on increasing the numbers of Pracharaks to expand the work of the organization.

During this busy schedule, the Sarsanghchalak met the girls’ of Sewa Bharti’s Drishti Kanya Shatra hostel and also interacted with the students and inquired about their educational activities.
