Govt constitutes committee to implement mid-career training policy for JKAS officers

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday issued an order for the constitution of committee to deliberate on the modalities for implementing the mid-career training policy in respect of the members of the administrative services.

According to an order issued, Atal Dulloo, IAS Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Finance Department will be chairman of the committee and the committee has asked to submit its report within 15 days.

“Sanction is hereby accorded to the constitution of a Committee, to deliberate on the modalities for implementing the Mid-Career Training Policy in respect of the members of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative,” reads the order issued commissioner/secretary to the government Manoj Kumar Dwivedi.

The committee comprises the Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary) Finance Department who will be chairman of the committee while as Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department will be member and Director General, J&K IMPA & RD will be member-secretary of the committee.

“The terms of reference of the committee shall be as to deliberate the modalities for deputing the members of Jammu and Kashmir administrative service for undergoing Phase-III, IV and V of the mid-career,” the order adds.

“To decide on the nature of training, including contents of the syllabi, lay down a criteria, as may be adopted, for deputing the officers of the various batches for the training,” It said.

“The committee shall submit its report/recommendations within a period of 15 days,” the order reads—(KNO)
