Pharmacists have been the players of front line in assuring medical aid both at door step and at far off places irrespective of any caste, colour, creed or religion. The efforts made in the field by the Pharmacists got recognition after International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) declare 25th of September , The World Pharmacist Day. FIP is the Global Federation of national Associations of Pharmacists and Pharmaceutical Scientists.

While recalling the Pharmacy Industrial Growth or the role of the Pharmacist, what has been heard or even read through the literature, it has been the Pharmacist who has given blood to the preventive or treatment measures while the position of Medical Officers or Specialists was not to the present extent.  Indeed, it will not be out of place to mention here that the turning points of Pharmacy would mean offering a diagnosis with experienced evolution of scientific basis. The Pharmacist kept healing on the wounds where tears used to roll down on the cheeks of sufferers.

In today`s world of upgraded system of professional Medicare Services, let me remind all that today we again have been empowered to practice and treat certain diseases in the absence of Medical Officers /Specialists. This definitely has once again boosted the morale of Pharmacy Industry, indicating that the role stands recognized by each and every one of us whether in government or private sector. Thanks to Government of India ,for putting in efforts of exploring authentication of treatment through Pharmacists who hail it while fighting Covid 19.

Covid 19 has been observed a pandemic that still is not ready to leave us and is still forcing us to be professionally smart for trials of vaccines but it too is true that many of the Pharmacists lost their lives while fighting the pandemic besides many Medical Officers /Specialists too sacrificed while treating the patients of Covid 19. Salutes to the admired role of Pharmacists & Pharmacy Industry especially the professionals who lost their lives and whose families suffered a huge lost while risking their lives in treating and managing Covid 19 patients.

Having served in the Department of Health & FW , I congratulate all the Pharmacists and Pharmacy Industry  across the globe for having made contributions to the extent where life today is easy and sufferings stand minimized by way of their attitudes and exploring possisblities.

We today all shall have to remember those Pharmacists, Medical Officers and Specialists besides Scholars who served the purpose of their contributions while fighting and managing Covid 19 Pandamic.

Let us stand besides the bereaved families to practice art of nobleness at least by feeling their pains.
