EJAC hold general council meet: Core group leaders discuss various issues

Srinagar: The Employees Joint Action Committee J&K (EJAC) Thursday met at its headquarters in Srinagar and held deliberations of various issues.

President EJAC, Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam as per a statement welcomed the members, guests and the quorum.

He deliberated on the recent developments that have been taking place under the banner of EJAC.

Emphatically the meetings with Chief Secretary JKUT and Commissioner GAD, Shabnam gave out details and highlighted the outcomes of these meetings.

Substantiating the faith in the leadership, the members, leaders, especially the quorum representing the constituent groups, seconded Shabnum for his course taken during the pandemic and post scenario.

During the discourse, every single unit of the constituents were asked to empanel two burning issues on priority that are concerned by the employees of their respective departments so that the charter of demands could be finalized, the most of the demands have already been identified and put forward for redressal.

Leaders of different sister concerns spoke on the occasion whose speech mesmerized, galvanized, harmonized, aggrandized, familiarized, vitalized and idolized the audience.

Shabnam talked at length giving vent to his emotions and sharing his experiences while working for the upliftment and betterment of the suffering lot of Government Employees.

He enunciated the achievements of the organisation. He advised the District Presidents of the organisation to fortify and invigorate the organisation at grassroots level.

The constitution was taken for a comprehensive discourse in the general council and unanimously agreed upon that a subsequent meeting shall be held in near future to have a final vote on the same and hopefully the resolution shall be passed accordingly.

The quorum has informed all the constituents/sister concerns to get their affiliations renewed within a month. In this regard they are required to submit a predevised format that is available with the general secretary of the organisation.

Shabnam later thanked all the participants and pinned hope in his successors in carrying forward the mission.
