Ramban, Sep 4: A speeding vehicle crushed a minor girl to death in Bhaba area of Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The accident triggered protest after the driver escaped from the spot.
Sources said that a speeding Sumo hit a minor girl causing her on spot death.
The accident occurred on Neera-Ganot road. Locals hit to road and staged a protest demanding arrest of the erring driver.
A police official said that efforts are on to nab the erring driver. He identified the deceased as Suman daughter of Ranjit Singh of Chaba Demote area of Ramban. (KNT)
