COVID-19: J&K records 89 new cases

Srinagar, Sep 2: Jammu and Kashmir Thursday recorded 89 new Covid positive cases, taking the total number of positive cases in the UT to 325618.

An official said that of the 89 new cases, 16 were from Jammu division and 73 from Kashmir division. “Moreover, 88 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 48 from Jammu Division and 40 from Kashmir Division,” the official said.

He said that 67.63 percent of population above the age of 18 years has been vaccinated across the Jammu and Kashmir. “No new case of Mucormycosis has been reported today, thus the total number of confirmed cases remains 45 in the UT of J&K,” the official said.
