Army organises awareness programme

Handwara: Army on Sunday conducted an awareness program in Haphruda. The aim of the programme was to create awareness among villagers about government schemes. Young, elderly, men, women, from 66 villages participated in the programme.

According to a statement, employees of Common Service Centre from Haphruda and Taratpura were called to educate villagers about Government Schemes. During the programme Awareness related to Ayushman Bharat (Gold Card Facility), Digital India Program ( PMG Disha, Digital Literacy) , Tele Law and PM Kisan Yojna been explained. In addition, documentation check and Queries related to Aadhaar Card, Election Card and various other government schemes were verified and answered by the CSC representative.

The overall programme was interactive and fruitful for the locals as it focussed on various new government beneficiary schemes.
