Two trekkers die, another injured in Anantnag

Anantnag, Jul 23 (UNI) Two trekkers died and another was seriously injured after they fell into a deep gorge in South Kashmir late Thursday night, officials said.
They said a group of three trekkers were on way to Banihal from Verinag Anantnag when the lost the track and fell into a crevasse at Hallan late last night.
A police this morning recovered two bodies identified as 18-year-old Aaqib Wani, a resident of Dolegam Banihal and Mohammad Imran Khan (26) of Verinag Anantnag.
Muzamil Ahamad Sheikh, a resident of Dolegam Banihal was rescued and shifted to hospital in a critical condition.
Further details are awaited, they said.
