Srinagar: Srinagar District Congress Committee (DCC) Sunday welcomed the All India Congress Committee’s (AICC) incharge for Jammu and Kashmir Affairs, Rajni Patil.
Patil along with JKPCC Chief G A Mir and Indu Pawar Maahila Congress President visited Dargah Hazratbal shrine where they paid their obeisance. They prayed for peace, progress and prosperity for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The DCC President Srinagar Haji Abdul Gani Khan along with party members prayed for the peace, unity and the welfare of J&K people.
Congress General Secretary Surinder Singh Channi, Working President Mir Ruvais, Shamima Raina Vice president Mahila Congress, JKPCC General Secretary Shamima Iqbal, Dr Ayub, Shamima Mir, Zulfqar Qureshi, Shamima Sopori, Saira Sameer, Haleem Khan, Muzaffar Shah, Rahila Gulzar Ahmed, Javeed Ahmed, Khursheed Patto and Municipal Coporators Nukul Matto Bashart, Asif Beigh, Ajaz Ahmed and Nazia Sobia were also accompanying them.
