Lucknow: Bahujan Samaj Party(BSP) supremo Mayawati has hailed the Narendra Modi government’s decision of meeting the politicians of Kashmir on June 24.
In a series of tweets on Wednesday, Mayawati said,” The meeting of the 14 leaders of Jammu and Kashmir at the level of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi tomorrow, June 24, is a proper initiative .’
She said after a gap of about two years, this meeting will prove fruitful with some concrete decisions and will also prove helpful for the restoration of the state of Jammu and Kashmir, etc., such hope.
The former UP CM said ,” At the same time, the early completion of the work of new delimitation for the Jammu and Kashmir assembly seats and the general elections there are such issues on which the eyes of the country are focused.”
“The Centre should intensify efforts to restore the situation in Jammu and Kashmir as per its promise and claim, BSP’s advice,” she said.
